KevinAs a specialist in addiction treatment, Kevin Griffin pulls from his experiences and knowledge as a Buddhist practitioner as well as his experiences as a 12 Step participant to create a mindful approach to addiction recovery.

He has authored the book “One Breath at a Time: Buddhism and the Twelve Steps” as well as “A Burning Desire: Dharma God and the Path of Recovery”.  He has also written “Recovering Joy: A Mindful Life After Addiction” which is his latest offering that focuses in on finding happiness and cultivating positive mindsets during addiction recovery. His books provide insight into the power of positivity in life after recovery and how that can be developed through a mindful process.

Currently, Kevin offers trainings at professional conferences, academic settings as well as Buddhist centers all over the world. Classes and seminars focus in on recovery through an enhanced understanding of the 12 Steps.

With a background in performing, Kevin Griffin is still very involved in the musical side of his life, although now he focusses in on dharma-related rock songs. He continues to teach, write music and spend time with his wife and daughter as well as helping those in recovery.
